Thank you for supporting our American Legion Post 2 Jeep Raffle. We truly appreciate your participation and your commitment to helping veterans through this fundraising effort.
Unfortunately, it appears that we will not reach the minimum number of ticket sales required to move forward with raffling the Jeep. As a result, all ticket purchases will be refunded beginning November 11th, once the raffle officially closes. Please be patient, the refund can take 2-7 days for credit/debit and two weeks for cash/check.
If you purchased tickets online, your refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method.
If you purchased by cash or check, a refund check will be mailed to you at the address you provided.
We are deeply grateful for your support of our programs and our mission to serve veterans and our community. Raffle Rules
Eligibility: The raffle is open to individuals who are U.S. Residents and 18 years of age or older.
Ticket Purchase: Raffle tickets can be purchased for $25 per ticket. Tickets may be purchased through the Bristol American Legion Seicheprey Post 2 online store (link) or at events where the tickets are sold (QR code). All sales are final and no refunds are offered. Tickets purchased online will be receive a receipt via email. An online copy with your number will be sent electronically after you purchase. A raffle ticket with your number(s) will be placed in the drawing bin on November 11, 2025.
Winning Odds: The odds of winning are based on the number of tickets sold, not to exceed a total of 5000 tickets.
Raffle Period: The raffle will begin on May 9, 2025 at 11am EST and end on November 10, 2025, at 11:59pm EST or when tickets are sold out. All ticket purchases must be made within this period.
Prize: The 1st place prize for the raffle will be a new 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4-door sport Vehicle is valued at ~$41,000 (not including tax and license fees). The vehicle and its options may not be substituted. The vehicle shown in the picture is not the actual vehicle color. The color will be whatever options are available to the winner at the time of the drawing. 2nd place prize $500 Amazon Gift Card. 3rd place prize $300 Amazon Gift Card. Prizes not to be redeemable for cash. Prizes are not transferable.
Drawing: The raffle drawing will take place on November 11, 2025, at 6:00pm EST, at the Bristol American Legion Seicheprey Post 2. The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible raffle tickets purchased. Winner need not be present to win. If the minimum number of tickets has not been sold (2,000), ticket purchasers will receive a full refund.
Winner Notification: The winner will be notified by phone, email, or in person, using the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. The winning ticket number will be posted on our website, along with the winners name. If the winner cannot be reached within 15 days or fails to claim the prize 30 days from notification, the prize will be forfeited and another drawing will be held on the 31st day. The 1st place winner must be a resident of the U.S. and travel to Crowley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 1461 Farmington Ave Bristol, CT 06010 to claim and pick up their vehicle. The second and third place winners can have the card mailed to their address or pick up the cards at the legion post 2.
Taxes and Fees: The winner will be responsible for all federal and state taxes, fees, and costs associated with the prize, including but not limited to sales tax, registration and license fees, and insurance. The winner will be required to fill out a W-9. Bristol American Legion Seicheprey Post 2 will not provide any financial or legal advice regarding tax or other financial matters related to the prize.
Use of Funds: The proceeds from the raffle will be used to support the Bristol American Legion Seicheprey Post 2 fundraising efforts, programs, facilities and operations for veterans services. Some of the proceeds will be used to cover the cost of the prizes and other expenses associated with the raffle.
Rules and Regulations: By participating in the raffle, entrants agree to abide by all the rules and regulations set forth by the Bristol American Legion Seicheprey Post 2, including but not limited to the terms and conditions of the raffle, as stated in the raffle materials and on the organization’s website.
Legal Requirements: The raffle will be conducted in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including but not limited to Connecticut state laws governing charitable gaming and fundraising activities.
